All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Fred Freeman - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 12, 1957 Fred Freeman, Parish Resident, Dies Sunday Fred Freeman, parish resident, died at his home Sunday night after a long illness. He was 76. Mr. Freeman had been a resident of Madison Parish for 27 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at four o'clock Monday afternoon at Mound Baptist Church with the Rev. D. Smith officiating, assisted by the Rev. Carl Brown. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eula Freeman, four sons, Hilton, Rowan and Decatur, all of Tallulah, and Rayford of Rayville; five daughters, Mrs. John Scott and Mrs. Ed Dean of Mound, Mrs. Herbert Scott, Mer Rouge, Mrs. Myrtle Moore, Lake Providence, and Mrs. Geraldine Redditt, Vicksburg, Miss.
