John Freeman Jr. passed away on January 23, 2013 at Methodist Hospital San Antonio Texas after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was born September 12, 1948 in Tallulah Louisiana to mother Rosie Lee Freeman and John Freeman Sr. He is survived by his sons: Terrell D Freeman of San Antonio and John Freeman III; daughter: Rhonda Gail and wife Catherine J. Freeman of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan; and sister: Curtistine Fisher. He served in the United States Air Force for 24 years. Two tours in Vietnam along with desert shield and desert storm.

 

John retired from USAF and was working at Laughlin AFB with the title of Quality Assurance. John touched many lives in many ways. He was a loving father, great co-worker and a pleasant man to have fun and to be around. He will surely and greatly be missed. A Memorial service to celebration his life will be on Saturday, 10:00 A.M, January 26, 2013 at the Chapel of G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home.
