All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Pauline Hollingsworth Furr - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 15, 1961 Funeral Services Friday for Mrs. Pauline Furr Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Hollingsworth Furr, 77, who died Wednesday night at 9:25 following a lengthy illness will be held today (Friday) at the First Tallulah Baptist Church at 10 a. m. The Rev. Oster R. Daniels, pastor of the church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Dan Lott. Burial will follow in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. A native of Attala County, Miss., she had lived in Madison Parish for the past 42 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Mr. James E. Furr, Sr.; one daughter, Mrs. R. R. Mitchell; two sons, James E., Jr., and Louis Furr, all of Tallulah, and five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Carroll Crow, Jim Folk, C. E. Goss, Robert Brown, Rupert Harmon, Jeff Goza, L. T. Roy and Robert Graves.
