All rights reserved. ************************************************ Martha Gamble - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Contra Costa, CA Times, 6/21/2005 Martha Gamble, age 83, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez. A native of Tallulah, LA, she was a 49-year resident of Pittsburg. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, and was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Pittsburg. She is survived by her daughters, Vera Stewart, Louise and husband, Jerry Oakley, Bernadine Sequeira, Irma Gamble and Linda and husband, Rev. James Ware; sons, Herbert and Floyd Gamble; sisters, Betty Hankins, Annie Bea Johnson and Terry Henry; grandchildren, LaTanya, Rosalind, Janice, Tina, Amina, Anthony, Robert, Teino, Jason, Shameeka, Monteico, Sr., Tracy, Dennis, Marlon, Kanesha, Herbert Andre and Tycee; and 36 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Adam Gamble; parents, Spencer and Lucy Hawkins; grandchildren, Marvin and Tiffany; five sisters and two brothers. Visitation Tuesday, June 21, 2005, 2-6pm with quiet hour at 6pm to 7pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Services Wednesday, June 22, 2005, 11am at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Pittsburg.
