Sevier Victim Of Tragic Accident TALLULAH, La., July 6 -- The eleven-month-old grandson of State Senator Henry Sevier of Tallulah was electrocuted in a freak accident at his parent's summer home on Lake Bruin yesterday. Robert Wiley Gandy, III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Gandy, Jr. of Tallulah, died instantly when his wet hand came in contact with an electric fan, according to Parish Coroner Dr. Whittaker. Dr. Whittaker said the child, in wet clothing and with his hand apparently wet also, touched the back of the fan with one hand, while his other hand was on a nearby stove. The fan was not on at the time; Dr. Whittaker said, but it was plugged in. Dr. Whittaker said efforts to revive the child were futile. Funeral services were held at the Tallulah Presbyterian Church this morning, with the Rev. O'Neill of Ruston officiating.
