L. O'Neal of Choudrant and David M. Daniel of Port Gibson, Miss. officiating. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Miss Gandy died in a three-car crash on Highway 61 north of Port Gibson about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday while on her way to work at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. Claiborne County Sheriff Dan McCay said that Miss Gandy was northbound when a car driven by John O. Kempie of New Albany, Ind. apparently swerved across the center line and collided with her head-on. Another northbound vehicle, driven by Joe Doss of Harriston, Miss. struck the Gandy vehicle. Sheriff's authorities said Kempie apparently went to sleep at the wheel, and that an investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol and their office is continuing. Miss Gandy, of 300 Virginia St. in Tallulah, was temporarily living and working in Port Gibson. She was a graduate of Tallulah High School and Hinds Junior College in Raymond, Miss., and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. W.
