Gardner Was Former Resident Of Cotton Valley TALLULAH, La., March 9--Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church this afternoon for Louis S. Gardner, 64, prominent Madison parish farmer who died Tuesday. Mr. Gardner was a former resident of Cotton Valley and had operated the Alganon Plantation east of Tallulah. The Rev. John Kilpatrick will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J. T. Roy, Jr., Carroll Hedgepeth, J. C. Hutchings, Charles Abraham, Purvis Copes, Bill Yerger, E. H. Stewart and J. C. Byram.
