All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Alta Garrison - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 26, 1970 Former resident dies in Maryland Mrs. Alta Garrison of Rockwell, Maryland, died Saturday morning about 8:30 in Rockwell following a long illness. Mrs. Garrison was a former resident of Tallulah and was active in many civic and church affairs while she lived here. She was a member of the Tallulah Methodist Church, the Tallulah Book Club and the Tallulah Music Club. She is survived by her husband, G. L. Garrison, who was employed for many years at the Experiment Station in Tallulah; one daughter, R. J. Thomann, of Rockwell; and three grandchildren; one sister and one brother. Funeral services were held Tuesday under the direction of Tyson Wheeler Funeral Home of Rockville.
