All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Yvonne Theresa Gauthier-Russell - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 24, 1999 Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne Theresa Gauthier-Russell, age 47, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Ferreolus D'Cruz officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Russell died Tuesday, Feb. 16. 1999, at the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport after a lengthy illness. She was born in Pineville. La., and had lived in Tallulah for 12 years. She was a homemaker and employee of Garden & Company of Tallulah. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Russell of Tallulah: four daughters Milissa Christiansen of Dana Point, Calif., Leigh Anne Walker of West Monroe, Jennifer Russell and Sarah Beth Russell, both of Tallulah: one son. Shelby Russell of Baton Rouge: five grandchildren: her parents, Ollie and Vernie Gauthier of Baton Rouge: three half-brothers. James "Bobby" Shelton of Texas, Thomas "Freddie" Seymour and Jerry Seymour, both of Arkansas; and one sister, Karen Russell of Denham Springs. Donations will be accepted by the St. Edward's Catholic Church in Tallulah to establish a rose garden on the church grounds in memory of Yvonne Russell. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
