Gayle died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, at Delhi Hospital. He was 55. A native of Madison Parish, Mr. Gayle was a farmer and trucker. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Connie Sullivan Gayle of Tallulah; two sons, Kenneth "Kenny" Gayle and Gideon Gayle, both of Tallulah; one daughter, Dulcie Gayle of Tallulah; three brothers, Steve Gayle, John Gayle and Frank Gayle, all of Tallulah; one sister, Sandra Herman of Tallulah; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy Dean Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Pallbearers will be Alvin Sullivan, Jerrel Sullivan Sr., David Sullivan, Jimmy Sullivan, Johnny Sullivan and Daniel Sullivan.
