Gayle - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 18, 1985 Services for Mrs. Martha E. Gayle, 67, were at 2 p.m. last Thursday at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Revs. Howard McLemore and O. B. Roberson officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Gayle died Tuesday at Delta Haven Nursing Home in Tallulah after a long illness. A Chatham native, Mrs. Gayle had lived in Tallulah for 45 years and was a Baptist. Survivors include four sons, Steve Gayle, John Gayle, Kenneth Gayle and Frank Gayle, all of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Herman of Tallulah; two sisters, Mrs. Zelma Hollingsworth of Start and Mrs. Louise Gobep of Galveston, Texas; and 14 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Benny Holloway, Harmon Smith, Alvin Sullivan, Gerald Sullivan, Gordon Stanley and Hoyt Lee.
