All rights reserved. ************************************************ Lorine Chandler Ghrigsby - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 23, 2003 Funeral services for Mrs. Lorine Chandler Ghrigsby, 84, of Tallulah, were Friday at First Baptist Church with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Ghrigsby died Oct. 15 in Madison Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Greenhill, Ala., and had lived in Madison Parish for 47 years. She was a member of Tallulah First Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher. She retired from Westinghouse in Vicksburg after 20 years. She is survived by five sons, Edward Ghrigsby, David Ghrigsby, Larry Ghrigsby and Herman Ghrigsby, all of Tallulah, and Jim Ghrigsby, of Vicksburg; two daughters, Peggy Jobe, of Tallulah, and Dean Johnson, of Vicksburg; one brother, Howard Chandler, of Bloomfield, Mo.; two sisters, Dorothy Williams, of Tulsa, Okla., and Frances Smith, of St. Louis, Mo.; 26 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
