All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ James Howard Gillum - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 21, 1985 Services for James Howard Gillum, 58, were at 4 p.m. Monday at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. O.B. Robertson officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Gillum died Friday at Barksdale Air Force Base Hospital in Bossier City after a long illness. Mr. Gillum was a native of Russellville, Ky., and had lived in Bossier City for the past eight years. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, a veteran of Korea and Vietnam, and a member ofthe Baptist church. Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Gillum of Jacksonville, Fla.: two brothers, Thomas Gillum and Bobby Gillum, both of Louisville, Ky.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Jean Chelednik of Danbury, Conn., Mrs. Dessie Pennington of Wilmington, N.C., and Mrs. Jo Nell Youman of Columbus, Ga.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Ray Jobe, Charlie Jobe, Tommy Jobe, Joe Amacker, Russell Jones, James Edward Marshall and Spencer Sevier.
