TALLULAH, La. - Graveside services for John "Rusty" C. Gipson Jr., 57, of Tallulah, will be 10 a.m., 
Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the Saints Rest Baptist Church Cemetery near Dubach, La., with the Rev. 
Jim Reid officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah.

Visitation is today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Mr. Gipson died Monday, July 7, 2014, on his family farm in Tallulah. He was born in Delhi, La., and 
lived in the Tallulah area. He was a farmer and a member of Tallulah United Methodist Church. He was an 
avid outdoorsman.

Survivors include his mother, Jean Hemphill Gipson of Tallulah; one brother, Bobby Wayne Gipson and 
wife Linda, of Tallulah; three step-nieces and two step-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Ragus, Billy Wayne Ragus, Frank Thomas, Gordon Thomas, Matt Gregory, 
and John Hopkins.

In lieu of flowers, any memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Tallulah, or a 
favorite charity.
