All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Fred Givens - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 28, 1999 Graveside services for Mr. Fred Givens. 81, a retired farmer, were held Saturday, April 24, 1999 at the Ebenezer Church Cemetery in Castor, La., with Rev. John Rushing officiating.Services were under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mr. Givens died Thursday, April 22 in the Madison Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Castor and had lived in Madison Parish since 1936. Survivors include: four brothers: Clinton Givens, William E. Givens, and Jimmy Ray Givens, all of Tallulah and Mac Neil Givens, Kermit, Texas: three sisters: Merline Plunkett. Blackwell, Texas, Mildred Overles, Anchorage, Alaska, and Inez Lollar, Okolona. Miss.: and a number of nieces and nephews.
