All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Rosa L Givens - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 17, 1991 Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa L Givens, 95, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Castor with Rev. Charles Gaston officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Church Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Givens died Tuesday in the Delta Haven Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Bienville Parish and was a housewife. Mrs. Givens was a Baptist and had lived in Madison Parish for the past 54 years. Survivors include five sons, Fred Givens, Clinton Givens and Jimmy Ray Givens, all of Sondheimer; William E. Givens of Tallulah and McNeil Givens of Kermit, Tex.; three daughters, Merline Plunkett of Blackwell, Tex., Mildred Overlees of Alaska and Inez Lollar of Okolona, Miss.; two brothers, Clyde Lee of Sondheimer and Roy Lee of Shreveport; one sister, Cora Bogan of Castor and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
