Goings - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 2, 1962 Funeral Services for Ella Goings on Saturday Funeral services were held Saturday of last week for Miss Ella J. Goings, 19, who died at her home in Mounds after a lengthy illness. Services were held in the Chapel Room of Young's Funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Nathaniel Henderson and the Rev. Durmont Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. She was a graduate of Tallulah High School. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Goings, Mounds; four Brothers, Ray and Arnold Goings, Tallulah; Kenneth and Jerry Goings, of Mounds, and one sister, Patsey Goings, Mounds. Pallbearers were John Watts, Elton Freeman, Cecil Breedlove, C. H. Hodge, Thurman Busby, Eddie Satchfield, Butch Satchfield and Edward Grisby.
