All rights reserved. ************************************************ Clyde Larry Goodwin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post May 7, 2003 TALLULAH - Clyde Larry Goodwin died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at Veteran's Administration Hospital in Jackson. He was 57. Born in St. Joseph, Mr. Goodwin had lived in Madison Parish for 23 years. He was a police officer with the Department of Transportation and Development, Weights and Standards and an Air Force veteran having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Church of Christ and American Legion Post No. 100. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Pillars Goodwin of Tallulah; a son, James H. Foster II of Tallulah; a daughter, Cynthia Eppinette of Tallulah; two sisters, Carol Perry and Kathy Perry, both of Delhi; two brothers, Johnny Pillars and Terry Pillars, both of Darnell; and a grandson, Emmitt Eppinette of Tallulah. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilfred Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be O'Neal Perry, Ernie Perry, Brian Perry, Brad Perry, Donald Goodwin, Ronald Goodwin, Tyrell Jacobs and Chad Ezell. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, Weights and Standards.
