All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Leila Evelyn Grace - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 18, 1998 Funeral services for Mrs. Leila Evelyn Grace, age 91, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998 in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ramon Warren and Rev. Lillard Bevel officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Grace died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, in the Golden Doors Nursing Home in Winnsboro after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by late husband, Leander Grace. She was born in West Point, Miss., and had lived in Tallulah for 64 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Tallulah. She was a former member of the Board of Stewards and Wesleyan Guild. Survivors include a daughter, Le'Evelyn Westmoreland of Tallulah; a son, Charles Thomas Grace of Port Gibson, Miss., a sister, Helen Taylor of St. Simon's Island, Ga.; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers were Dewey Laird, Bill Colligan, Wayne Noland, Richard Powell, Mac Cagnolatti, Jr., Gerald Tonore, Lee Cummins, R. P. Grimes Jr., and alternate Billy Post, Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah was in charge of arrangements.
