All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Mabel Nicklas Graves - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 25, 1981 Services for Mrs. Mabel Nicklas Graves, 94, were at 2 p.m. Monday in the First United Methodist with the Rev. Rupert Coles officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Graves died Sunday at her home after a long illness. She was a native of Chamxxx, Pa., and had lived in Tallulah for 64 years. She was a housewife, a member of the Methodist Women's Organization and a former Sunday School teacher at the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son, Frank A. Graves of Lafayette; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were W. S. Pierce, Robert Craft, E. H. Lancaster, Jr., Carl Smith, Bobby Joe Lee, Harvey T. Mounger, J. A. McDaniel and Dr. Richard Lee Graves. Honorary pallbearers were the Men's Bible Class of the First United Methodist Church.
