All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Maebell Griffin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 17, 1981 Services for Mrs. Maebell Griffin, 62, were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tallulah First Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Xxxxx Johnson, F.A. McGaha and Rupert Stroud officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of s Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Griffin died Monday at Vicksburg Hospital in Vicksburg, Miss. after a long illness. Mrs. Griffin was a native of Pioneer and a resident of Tallulah for 35 years, a housewife, a former employee of TG&Y stores and Xxxx Dress Shop. She also was a xxxx and member of First United Penecostal Church of Tallulah. Survivors include her husband, Carl Griffin of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Carolyn Rawles of Rayville, Mrs. Reba Machen of Tallulah; her mother, Mrs. Dealie Fowler; three brothers, Bennie Fowler of Pioneer, J. D. Fowler of Kilbourne, Enos Overby of Lake Providence; seven sisters, Mrs. Emma L Hammett of Starks, Mrs. Myrtle Johnson, Mrs. Cary Guillet, Mrs. P. C. Albritton, all of Kilbourne, Mrs. Pauline Durden of Monroe, Mrs. Mary Salsburg, Mrs. Valerie Copeland, both of West Monroe: and six grandchildren.
