Griswold, Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 16, 1984 James F. Griswold, Jr., 76, died Sunday, August 5, at his home in Marrero, La. He was a native of Los Angeles, California and lived in Tallulah a number of years when he was manager of Chicago Mill and Lumber Company. Jim was active in the Trinity Episcopal Church and several civic organizations. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Denison, formerly of Helena, Arkansas; one son, James F. Griswold, III of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; one daughter, Ruth G. Russell of New Orleans; and five grandchildren. Grandsons and great-grandsons served as honorary pallbearers.
