All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Manfred Gustafson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 11, 1987 Services for Mr. Manfred Gustafson, 90, of Tallulah were at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Tallulah United Methodist Church with Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah. Mr. Gustafson died Wednesday March 4 at the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a long illness. He was a native of Sweden and a resident of Tallulah for 48 years, was a retired supervisor of Tallulah Ice House and Packing Plant, member of the Masonic Lodge, was a Shriner, was the holder of the General Grand Chapter Meritorious Award Medal of 1980 and a member of the Tallulah United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gena Gustafson of Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. Alice Gaumnitz and Mrs. Alice Morris, both of Tallulah and Mrs. Mavis Bledsoe of St. Petersburg, Florida; a brother, Bertil Gustafson of Ed, Sweden; one nephew, 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons and honorary pallbearers were members of the Tallulah Masonic Lodge.
