Hale, 75, of Tallulah, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 24 with Reverend Raymond Beard officiating. Cox Funeral Home was in charge of the services. Mr. Hale was born in Epps on March 11, 1931 and had lived in Tallulah for many years. He was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Barbara Beard Hale and his daughter LaVonne Hale Bouillon. Mr. Hale is survived by his wife Fern Deweese Hale; two sons, Gene Hale of Calhoun and Glyn & Julie Hale of Epps; one daughter, Sheron and Thomas Green of Monterey; two brothers, Harold Hale of Arkansas and Lavelle Hale of Epps; two sisters, Carolyn Wright and Rose Marie Hale, both of Monroe; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers were Dusty Hale, Adam Green, Yancey Gray, Isaac Beard, Cletus Clay and Ray Martin.
