All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Elbert Odel Hale - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 26, 1979 Funeral services for Elbert Odel Hale, 59, were held in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Revs. Fondren and Val officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park in Tallulah. Mr. Hale died Saturday in Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a long illness. He was a native of Ola, Ark., a Madison Parish resident for 25 years and the owner and operator of Sanitary Fish Market in Tallulah. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Hale of Tallulah; two sons, Allen Odell Hale of West Monroe and Richey Matthew Hale of Sumrall, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Sykes of Houma and Dot Hale of Tallulah; three brothers, Eddie Hale of Clayton and Edward Hale of Vidalia, and Russell Hale of Westwego; and one grandchild. Pallbearers were Virgil Thornton, Harlen Hale, Gene Butler, O'Neal Hale, David Dauzat and Ronald Hale.
