All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Fern DeWeese Hale - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home December 30, 2014 November 18, 1944 - December 22, 2014 Funeral services for Mrs. Fern DeWeese Hale, age 70, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 24, 2014, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Burch officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Hale died Monday, December 22, 2014, at her residence after a sudden illness. She was born in Star City, Arkansas and had lived most all her life in Madison Parish, Louisiana. She was a retired cashier and she was a member of Parkview Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include 2 sister-in-laws, Ada DeWeese of Tallulah and Shirley DeWeese Dennis of Pine Bluff, Ar., 3 nephews, Bill DeWeese and wife, Tina, of Tallulah, Don DeWeese and wife, Paula, of Tallulah, and Larry Gene DeWeese and wife, Danielle, of Tallulah, 2 nieces, Debbie Busby and husband, Elmer, of Morton, Ms., and Melba Spradlin and husband, Calvin, of England, Ar., and numerous great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind two lifelong friends, Cynthia Machen and Judy Josey. Mrs. Hale was preceded in death by her husband, Genie Hale, her parents, Ophelia and James Carroll DeWeese, and two brothers, Ed DeWeese and Gene “Red” DeWeese. Pallbearers will be Lloyd Moore, Jimmy Wright, Red Beard, Bill DeWeese II, Eric Busby, and Shaun Chandler.
