All rights reserved. ************************************************ Laura Mildred Hancock - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post February 27, 2003 TALLULAH - Laura Mildred Hancock died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 95. Born in Vicksburg, Mrs. Hancock had lived in Tallulah for the past 64 years. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include two sons, Carl L. Hancock of Baton Rouge, La., and Ronald F. Hancock of Tallulah; two daughters, Betty Jane Lofton of Vicksburg and Patricia Cathcart of Concord, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services were at 11 a.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, La.
