"PeeWee" Hancock - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Cremation Society of Tennessee, July 2009 Robert J. "PeeWee" Hancock, age 79 of Summertown, TN died Friday, July 24 in NHC-Pulaski. Mr. Hancock was a native of Tallulah, LA and was the son of the late Charles Henry and Nettie Williams Hancock. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, and was a self-employed construction worker. He was also a member of the New Salem Church of God in Summertown. He is survived by his wife, Janice, whom he married in November 1955; two daughters: Cindy (Daniel) Smathers of Homer, LA and Mindy Girouard of Ethridge, TN; three sons: Robert Jay Hancock of Austin, TX, Michael Scott (Jackie) Hancock of Atlanta, GA, and Patrick Lee Hancock of Atlanta, GA; three sisters: Lavonne Givens of Tallulah, LA, Lavergne Ryan of Joplin, MO, and Shirley Melton of Vickburg, MS. Six grandchildren: Jordan Hancock, Quinton Hancock, Benjamin Hancock, Adam Soulier, Renee Girouard, and Casey Girouard; and one great-grandchild: Finley Hancock, also survive. The family will gather to celebrate Robert's life on Tuesday, July 28 at 5:00 PM at the New Salem CHurch of God in Summertown, TN.
