All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Maggie Smith Hanson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 21, 1981 Services for Mrs. Maggie Smith Hanson, 70, were at 3 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church with the Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Hanson died Saturday in Tallulah from injuries sustained in automobile accident. She was a native of Brookhaven, Miss. and a resident of Tallulah for 57 years and manager of Abroms Dry Goods Store. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a member of Tallulah First Baptist Church. She is survived by a brother, Aubrey Smith of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Smith of Tallulah; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jim Folk, M.C. Stone, Ira Archie Ervin, David Hugh Ervin, Lenell Bradley, Roy Wroten, Johnny Lishman and Gene Cox.
