All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Louise Burk Hargis - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 30, 1985 Mrs. Louise Burk Hargis, 56, died April 15 at her residence in Clinton, La. Services were held at Wall United Methodist Church in Clinton with the Rev. Larry Robertson and the Rev. Bill Eubanks officiating. Mrs. Hargis was a native of Madison, Wisc. and was a retired elementary school teacher. She was a former band director at Tallulah High School. She was a member of Wall United Methodist Church, Kappa Gamma International, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Louisiana Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by her husband, Quincy L. Hargis of Clinton; her mother, Helen F. Burk of Clinton; two daughters, Janet Hargis Gernon of Metairie and Sally Hargis Fleniken of Baton Rouge; one son, David L. Hargis of Clinton; and two grandchildren.
