Harmon - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post March 28, 2008 TALLULAH -- Faye R. Harmon died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, after a lengthy illness. She was 81. Mrs. Harmon was born in Dodson. La., and lived most of her life in Tallulah. She had been the owner and operator of Faye's Beauty Shop in Tallulah since 1956. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.E. and Alma Roberson; a sister, Gloria R. Bradley; three brothers, Garland Roberson, Carl Roberson and Leonard Roberson, all of Tallulah; one grandson, Stanley Thigpen; and a great-grandson, Wesley Thigpen. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Stanley Harmon of Tallulah; a son, Tommy Harmon of Tallulah; three daughters, Alice Faye Ervin and Lena Rhynehart, both of Tallulah, and Judy Bullock of Monroe; two sisters, Louise Cox and Cora Mae Reeves, both of Tallulah; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held today at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons, PeeWee Thigpen, Bill Thigpen, Sam Thigpen, Tommy Mathis, Lance Bullock, Brad Rhynehart, Jason Ewing and Patrick Cobb.
