All rights reserved. ************************************************ Lloyd Gaines Harmon - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post December 13, 2001 GRETNA, La. - Lloyd Gaines Harmon died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at his home in Gretna. He was 69. A former resident of Tallulah, Mr. Harmon had lived in Gretna for the past 19 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ruppert Harmon and Faye Watts Harmon; and James L. Harmon. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lama Harmon, formerly of Vicksburg; two daughters, Lisa Matthews of Champaign, Ill., and Stacie Harmon of Gretna; two sons, Bryan K. Harmon of Baton Rouge and Maurice G. Harmon of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Stanley Harmon and C.R. Harmon, both of Tallulah; three grandchildren and other relatives. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Naval Support Activity Chapel in Algiers, La. Burial will follow at Port Hudson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 tonight at Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey, La., and from 9 a.m. until the service Friday at the Naval Support Activity Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
