Harris - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 3, 1997 Funeral services for Mr. David A. Harris, age 73, were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Steve Hillman officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Harris died Thursday, Nov. 27, 1997, in the Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro, La., after a sudden illness. He was born in Epps, La., and had lived in Madison Parish for eight years. He was a retired oil field worker and farmer. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church of Delhi. Survivors include his wife, Mary Arnold Harris of Tallulah, La.; two sons, James W. Harris of Fort Worth, Texas, and John Wayne Harris of Midland. Texas; three daughters, Inez Allen and Sherry Ann Nichols, both of Midland, Texas, and Linda Arnold of Fort Worth, Texas; two step-sons, Mitchell Arnold of Winnsboro and Melvin Arnold of Monroe; and three step-daughters, Margaret Brown and Marie Hutto, both of Winnsboro, and Margie Frost of Delhi.
