Harrop died Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. She was 94. Born in Turrell, Ark., Mrs. Harrop had lived in Tallulah for more than 75 years. She had worked at Morgan & Lindsey and at the Tallulah Ice House and Locker Plant, all before retiring. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tallulah and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Harrop; a son, Dr. Robert Harrop; and a daughter, Betty H. Helton. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Shirley Harrop of Monroe; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Jean Foreman officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Pallbearers will be Randy Morgan, Larry Ezell, Gary Gunn, Pete Norris, Bill Yerger and Jay Pemberton. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Copes, Thurman Busby, Bob Laird, Donald Neumann, Charley Hopkins, Glen Paulette, Billy Ray Arender and Dr. Leonard Neumann Jr.
