All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Dr. Robert William Harrop - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 26, 1996 Funeral services were held June 24, 1996 at the First United Methodist Church, Monroe, for Dr. Robert William Harrop of Monroe. Burial followed at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Terry Love officiated over the services. Arrangements were made under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Homes. Dr. Harrop died June 22, 1996 at North Monroe Hospital. He was 63. Dr. Harrop was an associate with the Eye Clinic in Monroe. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monroe, the LA Medical Association, and the Norris Hunting. Dr. Harrop was preceded in death by his sister, Betty H. Helton, and his father, Alfred Henry Harrop. Survivors include: Wife, Shirley Harrop; son and daughter-in-law Paul and Valerie Harrop all of Monroe; daughter, Ann Marie Harrop of Austin, Texas; Son, Karl Harrop of Chicago, Ill.; Mother, Lillian Harrop of Tallulah and grandson, William Alfred Harrop. Pallbearers were: Dr. Richard Curry, Bobby Medlin, Dr. Joseph Barron, Jerry McDonald, Pete Norris, Mike Norris, Bob Laird, and Don McEnery. Honorary Pallbearers were: John Ensminger, Jerry Lovett, Whitty Hood, Billy Ray Arender, Dr. Harold Keeling, and Dr. Ben Cobb. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Monroe.
