All rights reserved. ************************************************ Luther E. “Buddy” Harvey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, May 1, 2004 LAKE PROVIDENCE — Luther E. “Buddy” Harvey died Monday, April 26, 2004, at his home. He was 71. Born in Mound, Mr. Harvey attended Tallulah High School. He was a resident of Lake Providence and was a farmer and an employee of the East Carroll Parish Police Jury. Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Harvey and James H. Harvey, both of Belleview, Fla.; two daughters, Betty Harvey of Lake Providence and Jerry Lynn Harvey of Decatur, Ala.; his mother, Jewell Harvey of Tallulah; a sister, Faye H. Maxwell of Tallulah; a brother, William W. Harvey of Wausilla, Alaska; seven grandchildren; and other relatives, including Robert Harvey of Tallulah and David Harvey of Lake Providence. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill McClain officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Fred Boughton, John Hoffman, Gerald Collins, Nicholas Harvey, Cody Harvey and Teagan Harvey.
