Harvey - Madison Parish, LA From Tallulah Madison Journal July 9, 1954 Luther L. Harvey Dies At His Home After Long Illness Luther L. Harvey, 42, a farmer of Tallulah and a Madison Parish resident for 30 years, died at his home south of here Tuesday after-noon after a lengthy illness. He was a member of the Little Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. R. A. Coulter and Rev. G. P. Stearns officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery, under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Harvey; two sons, Luther and William, Tallulah; one daughter, Mrs. Faye Hoffman, Baton Rouge; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L, W. Harvey, of Transylvania; five brothers, H. D. and David, Transylvania, W. A., R. M. and A. L., of Tallulah; two sisters, Mrs. L. N. Neal, Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. John House, Lake Providence. Pallbearers were Leonard Neumann, Wilbur Collins, George Hopkins, E. H. Ragus, Harold Post and Tom Farrer.
