Hattaway - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 4, 1994 Funeral services for J. M. Hattaway were at 2:00 p.m. April 27, at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Rushing and the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial was at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Hattaway died Monday, April 25, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was 71. He was a native of Bernice, La., and had lived in Madison Parish for the past 47 years. He lived in the Sondheimer community and retired as a construction worker. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Hattaway. He is survived by his wife, Norma Dean Lee Hattaway of Tallulah; three sons, Jay Everette Hattaway of Houston, Tx., Randy Dean Ramshur of Tallulah and Richard Lane Ramshur of Little Rock, Ark.; three daughters, Diane Hattaway O'Neal of Oak Grove, La., Sandra Ramshur Wilson of Austin, Tx., and Angel Darlene Hattaway Mobley of Tallulah; two brothers, Lloyd Hattaway of Vicksburg and Wilbur Hattaway of Tallulah; one sister, Betty Jean Neumann of Tallulah; and 10 grandchildren.
