All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Orion "Fat" Hattaway - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 31, 1984 Services for Orion "Fat" Hattaway, 58, were at 2 p.m. Xxxxxday at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Revs. Xxxxx Howard and Tommy Moore officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah. Mr. Hattaway died Saturday at Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi after a long illness. Mr. Hattaway was a native of Xxxerville and had lived in Transylvania for the last 20 years. He was a retired construction worker and a member of Melbourne Baptist Church in Transylvania. Surrivors include his wife, Mrs. Xxxx Hattaway of Transylvania, two sons, Charles Hattaway of Plain Dealing and James Boyd of Marlboro, Mass., two daughters, Mrs. Linda Evans of Prattville, Ala., and Mrs. Brenda Sansone of Tallulah; four brothers, Rowe Hattaway of Lake Providence, J. M. Hattaway and Wilbur Hattaway, both of Tallulah, and Loyd Hattaway of Vicksburg, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. Betty Neumann of Tallulah; eight grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jimmy Hattaway, Eddie Hattaway, Jay Everett Hattaway, Joseph Foster Sr., David Smith, Carl Turpin and Joseph Foster Jr. Members of Melbourne Baptist Church served as honorary pallbearers.
