Hendricks - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 30, 1983 Services for Alfred E. Hendricks, 77, were Monday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Larry Xxxxxer officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Hendricks died Saturday at Madison Parish Hospital after an illness. He was a native of Eros and a resident of Tallulah for the past 35 years. He was also a retired farmer and planter, a retired manager of the McLemore Estate and a member of Tallulah First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lula Mae Hendricks of Tallulah; four sons, James Hendricks of New Orleans, Ronald Hendricks of Monroe, Danny Hendricks of Shreveport and Eugene Hendricks of Lenoir, North Carolina; a brother, M. W. Hendricks of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Ernie H. Johnson and Mrs. Verdrue H. Bird, both of Monroe; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were Benny Holloway, Timmy Watts, Gary Arneson, Wheat Nelson, Ronnie Kennedy, and Lum Storey.
