Herrod died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at her home in Tallulah. She was 47. Mrs. Herrod was born in El Paso, Texas, and later moved to Tallulah. She was an accountant for H&R Block for more than 20 years. She was also an animal groomer. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Joe Herrod Jr.; her mother and stepfather, Sybil and George Spencer; her father, James E. Elmore; and other relatives. Services will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
