Services Held Sunday For Mrs. Hetland

Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Marie Hetland, 78, who died in Delta Haven Nursing Home Saturday 
morning after a brief illness, were held Sunday at 2 p. m. Services were conducted in the Tallulah 
Methodist Church with the Rev. Clark Pell officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery 
under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home.

She was a native of Sioux City, Iowa and had been a resident of Madison Parish for the past 30 years. 
She was a bus driver for Tallulah schools for a number of years.

She is survived by one son, James Hetland, Sondheimer; one daughter, Mrs. June White, Tallulah, 
two sisters, Mrs. Jeanne Manning, St. Louis, Mo., and .Mrs. Grace Naylor, Moose Jaw, Canada; four 
grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Manfred Gustafson, Charlie Arneson, Ed Palmby, Bilbo Sullivan, J. W. Ellis 
and Cleburn Ashley.
