All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ John David Hill - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 22, 1989 Funeral services for Mr. John David Hill, 48, were held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lyndell Stewart officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers. Mr. Hill died Thursday at the Vicksburg Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Plainview, Ark. and was a resident of Tallulah for the past 37 years. He was a musician and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Carla Hill of Tallulah; his mother, Della Hill of Tallulah; three brothers, Jerry Hill of Tallulah, Clarence Hill of Indiana and William O'Dell Hill of Homestead, Fla.; two sisters, Lois Finlayson of Tupelo, Miss. and Lela Crowley of Shreveport. Pallbearers were Ashley Halterman, Kenneth Parks, John Matthews, Malgene Sanders, Ricky Killingsworth and John Rugg.
