Hillman - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 1, 1989 Funeral services for Mrs. Marion S. Hillman, 53, were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Barnes officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Hillman died Wednesday at Hinds General Hospital in Jackson following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Tallulah and had lived in Jackson for the past three years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, William A. Hillman of Jackson; one son, William A. Hillman III of Jackson; one daughter, Jacqueline Wright of Jackson; her mother, Mrs. Avis Scott of Tallulah; three brothers, John Scott Jr. of Bossier City, William Scott of Greenville, and George Scott of Vicksburg; five sisters, Alma Rollins of Amory, Ms., Helen Breedlove and Anne Morgan, both of Bossier City, Rose Moore of Tallulah and Opal Self of West Monroe and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Clyde Self, John Self, Brian Scott, Glenn Breedlove, Mack Young and Buddy Stokes. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
