HINDS DIES Mrs. A. E. Hinds, wife of Allan E. Hinds, one of the oldest citizens of Madison Parish, died suddenly at her home at Sharkey Plantation Saturday night. The funeral services were conducted from Williams Funeral Home Monday, the Rev. C. N Kimberlin officiating. She was laid to rest in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Hinds is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Alice Rummage, of Tallulah, Misses Hattie and Mary Allen Hinds and two sons by a former marriage, Bernard and Rynie Johnson; two brothers, Henry Bussey of Greenwood, and Ed Bussey of Greenville, and a number of grandchildren.
