All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Esther Anna Hollingsworth - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 3, 1956 Miss Hollingsworth Dies At Home Of Sister January 25th Miss Esther Anna Hollingsworth, age 85, died Wednesday, January 25 at the home of her sister, Mrs. J. E. Furr, Sr., after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Friday morning at the First Baptist Church at 10:00 A. M. with the Rev. Irvin Cheney officiating. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. A native of Kosciusko, Miss., she had made her home with her sister for many years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Furr, Sr. and Mrs. Electa Pickle, both of Tallulah, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were J. E. Furr, Lewis Furr, David Pickle, George Pickle, Joe Turnage, and Joseph Hollingsworth.
