All rights reserved. ************************************************ Johnny “Scootie” Hollis Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, January 31, 2006 TALLULAH - Johnny “Scootie” Hollis Jr. died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at his home in Tallulah. He was 25. Born in Vicksburg, Mr. Hollis attended Reuben McCall High School in Tallulah. He was employed with Texas Convenience Stores of Vicksburg. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maude Carson Hollis; and his father, Johnny Hollis Sr. He is survived by two sisters, Tracy Banks of Edwards and Marcie Hollis of Vicksburg; three brothers, Willie Hayes Jr. of Denver, Michael Hollis of Tallulah and Sam Bunch of Las Vegas; and a niece, nephews, aunts and uncles. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Reuben McCall High School auditorium with Anthony Norwood of Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at Beckwith Golden Gate Funeral Home in Tallulah. Memorials may be made in care of the funeral home at 1318 W. Green St., Tallulah, LA 71282.
