Holloway - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 8, 1979 The funeral for the Rev. Barney L. Holloway, 47, of Tallulah was held in the First Baptist Church with the Revs. Crawford Williams and T. Xxxcer officiating. Burial was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home, Tallulah. Rev. Holloway died Saturday in Mercy Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss., of a lengthy illness. He was a Richland Parish native, a resident of Madison a former minister of Mound Church, an employee of the LeTourneau Co., Vicksburg, Miss., a member of First Baptist Church, Tallulah and a 25-year Baptist minister. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Modell Holloway, Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Brenda Lee, Tallulah; two sons, Terry Holloway , Louisville, Ky. and David Holloway, Jackson, Miss.; his father, Michael Holloway Sr., Delhi; four brothers, C. W. Holloway and Benny Holloway, both of Tallulah, Michael Holloway Jr., Sterlington, Charles Holloway, Monroe; six sisters, Mrs. Lavelle Sanders, Hanford, Calif., Mrs. Naomi McGraw, Mrs. Linda Sparks and Mrs. Judy Pate, all of Delhi, Mrs. Dora Hemphill and Mrs. Zelma Ashley, both of Sterlington. Pallbearers were Rusty Hicks, Bobby Grimes, Bobby Joe Lee, Ray Case, Ray Goins, Bobby Melton, Larry Ezell and Billy Joe Fuller.
