All rights reserved. ************************************************ Leigh Anne Holloway - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post March 21, 2002 TALLULAH - Leigh Anne Holloway died Monday, March 19, 2002, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was 15. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lake Providence, where she was in the youth group. She was a sophomore honor student at Tallulah Academy, where she was a member of the Beta Club and secretary of the Student Council. She was a varsity cheerleader and member of the varsity basketball and track teams. She was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was chosen by her classmates as the student with the best personality. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, George W. Stephenson, W.J. Hicks and the late Rev. Barney L. Holloway. She is survived by her parents, Susan and David Holloway of Tallulah; her brother, Brennan Holloway of Tallulah; her maternal grandparents, Keener and Eloise Howard of Lake Providence; and her paternal grandmother, Modell Holloway of Tallulah and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Lake Providence with the Rev. Jimmy Kettleman and Bill Senter officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Cade Marsh, Preston Walker, William Weeks, Brent Newton, Stephen Holmes, John Marshall Whatley, Jackson David Keifer, Patrick Hattaway, Brody Ray, Nate Butler and Nathan Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Tallulah Academy varsity football, basketball, baseball and track teams and the Tallulah Academy varsity cheerleaders and dance team.
