November 24, 1935 ~ February 10, 2024 88 Years Old

Modell Wyatt Holloway, age 88, passed away at Legacy Nursing Home, Saturday, February 10, 2024.

​She was born in Richland Parish, LA, on November 24, 1935, daughter of the late Mittie Swanner Ogden, Antone R Wyatt and Stepfather, Cammie Ogden. She attended Crowville High School and Southern Business College and retired from the USArmy Corps of Engineers Waterways Experiment Station.  

​She was a faithful member of Parkview Baptist Church for many years, she was a member of The VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary where she served as President and Secretary of each.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands, Rev. Barney Holloway, W. J. Hicks, and George Stephenson; son, Wendell Holloway; granddaughter, Leigh Anne Holloway; sister, Estelle Smith; brothers, Troy Wyatt, Deloy Wyatt, Donald Wyatt and Douglas Ogden.

She is survived by daughter, Brenda Lee (Bump) of Tallulah, LA; sons, Terry Holloway (Cynthia) of Dallas, TX and David Holloway (Susan) of Tallulah, LA; 5 grandchildren, Nathan Lee of Tallulah, LA, Natalie Lee Kneipp (Byran) of Vicksburg, MS, Adrienne Holloway Carnes (Clay) of Lubbock, TX, Kristin Holloway of Dallas, TX, and Brennan Holloway of Olla, LA; 10 Great Grandchildren, Cohen Lee, Redfield Kneipp, Clara Ann Kneipp, Gabriel Thigpen, Peyton Carnes, Cole Carnes, Brooklyn Carnes, Landon Holloway, Hayden Holloway, and Ainsleigh Anne Holloway; Long-time family friend Linda Livingston (Eddie) Clinton, MS; Stepson, Rusty Hicks (Hazel) of Tallulah, LA, Stepdaughter, Patty Beard of Vicksburg, MS. She also survived by brothers, Roy Wyatt (Brenda) Aiken, SC, Gene Ogden (Margie) and Glen Ogden (Brenda) both of Delhi, LA, 

Pallbearers will be Nathan Lee, Brennan Holloway, Landon Holloway, Hayden Holloway, Bryan Kneipp, Kevin Purvis, and Austin Cook.

All services will be Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Parkview Baptist Church, 104 Kimbrough Blvd, Tallulah, LA.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M and Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.  Interment will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah.
